Wadjet Eye Games yesterday announced that the wonderful Gemini Rue has come to Steam. Indeed, it has already gone live as of yesterday. This is excellent news for people who like great games, but also only like purchasing their computer games through the ever dominant Steam platform. It’s there, it’s 15% off ($8.49), and it could be one of your more memorable adventures this year. So, non-owners, your excuses are running out.
Also, if you stroll on over to their twitter feed this morning you might snag a free activation code. You know what must be done.
[UPDATE:] Wadjet Eye has just brought to my attention something called Indie Royale; they’ve just officially launched their project yesterday. Indie Royale is, in summation, another newcomer to the fast-growing world of indie game bundle-distributing, obviously taking cues from the huge success that has been the Humble Indie Bundle. They’ve got a rather neat idea, here’s how it works: the bundle– this first launch bundle including 4 games (A.R.E.S., Gemini Rue, Sanctum and Nimbus)– begins with a low minimum, opening price. As folks purchase the bundle at or around the minimum price, it slowly goes up one cent at a time. However, when someone makes a much larger contribution it will drive the price back down a notch.Who couldn’t love this idea? And really, have you ever regretted a purchase that supported small, independent developers? As I write this the bundle sits at $5.67 (down from $5.70 – generosity is abound!). Ah the choices!

Yeah I spotted this yesterday, it reminded me that I am still a non-owner. I shall see to that.
The way xtal raved about it, I know I must possess this. Onto the holiday gaming pile it goes!
I bought this yesterday. All 4 games for the total of £1.74. Oh my..
Still waiting for my Steam keys. Obviously as there’s not enough things to play right now I’m literally just sat tapping my fingers pressing F5 on my inbox until they come through.
I believe they’ve had some issues with that on a large scale, Mat. Check out their twitter feed for updates @indieroyale
£1.74?! That’s… that’s preposterous! I bought ‘high’ and quick for £4 thinking that internet paupers would make the price rocket but I was wrong!
Thanks for the tip, bought the bundle, and I am one happy person because of it.
