Those of you with a certain degree of self respect, who have resisted the mighty pull of Just Dance, will be rejoicing today as the May 1st sales chart for entertainment software shows Just Dance has finally been toppled. The title synonymous with lonely housewives, scarily happy families and disillusioned grandparents has spent a staggering 3,243,000 weeks at the number one spot. Sadly it has been replaced by Fifa World Cup South Africa; a case of out of the frying pan, and into the fire. However, there is a silver lining to this gray cloud, with Super Street Fighter IV jumping into 2nd place. I’ve no doubt that Just Dance is only suffering a sales blip and will reclaim its rightful place at the top of the sale charts next week. For now, lets just be grateful that perhaps people have finally seen the light. Maybe.
For the sales chart, hit the jump.

My brother bought World Cup 2010 on Friday.
It’s perhaps £15-£20 more than it should be, but it’s not a bad game. Infact, it’s a very good game. Infact, there are a number of tweaks to the FIFA 10 engine that make it a better game than FIFA 10 (as minor as some of them are).
As a half-annual update to cash in a sporting tournament it’s priced too highly as a “full” game, but it’s still a good game.
Another quick buck making franchise? Never! 😀
Lewis, you’re just jealous of Just Dance, ’cause you can’t. 😉 I was in Best Buy over the weekend and there was quite the line waiting to play Just Dance. Seriously.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can ‘Just Dance’ be bumped off the #1 ranking?!?!?
Now I will have to buy copies to send to all of my enemies….err….friends I mean. Yes, and tell them they will be getting a #1 experience out of it, hohoho
