The weekly sales chart is in, and it’s no surprise to find Halo: Reach dominating. Storming straight into poll position after selling twenty five billion copies in one evening, and generating enough profit to setup Master Chief for life (he’ll be grateful for the retirement and so will we). What did surprise me however (and you’ll all love this) is that Just Dance is still in the top 20 after 947 weeks*. Hang on while I smash something.
Evidently there are still enough desperate Wii owners out there in need of a dancing fix that are far too willing to part with their cash (and souls) in order to bust a grove in front of their TV, in full view of the neighbours.
Roll on the Christmas chart. Who’s betting it’ll be Just Dance strutting its stuff back into the top spot?
Hit the jump for the round up.
*not strictly true.

But… Just Dance is actually… pretty neat. I mean, I like Reach, much more than I liked ODST but there are better FPS games on consoles than Reach right now. There are no better dance games than Just Dance on consoles as we speak. Thus, it’s more than deserved!!!
Oh Meho, dude, you just woke the dragon there man. You’ll be missed. 🙂
But… Kieron FUCKING Gillen likes Just Dance. That surely means us simple people are allowed to like it, no?
You know what I’m gonna do? Buy Just Dance. And then I’m gonna convince my friends to buy a copy. We’re gonna keep Just Dance in the top 20 just to make Lewis’ head explode. 😀
I’m not a fan of Halo multiplayer, but I find the single-player experience on Legendary to be a total blast. Yes, absolutely brutal at times, but the great enemy A.I. really creates dynamic gameplay scenarios and the encounters play out differently everytime upon retrying. I’m about 3/4 of the way through on my Legendary run and loving it.
