Gregg, I'm aware of two universal constants, then: bacon and Scarlett Johannson.

The only way I can eat bacon is when it's wrapped around cheese stuffed hotdogs. Now that's tasty!

Did I mention I was vegan for 5 years..  : )

Something more post topic related (well, half the post topic anyway):

Steam is selling the multiplayer game Plain Sight for $2. $6 for a four pack (3 for your friends.)

It's cheaper then a pack of cigarettes!

EDIT: Having played it for about an hour now, I can say it's well worth $2. It's like being a flying ninja!

Three posts in a row on the same forum page.. I'm feeling kind of dorky for some reason..

Stardock's selling The Witcher Inhanced Ed. and Machinarium for $9.99 each. Thought you guys might be interested. Thinking about picking up Machinarium myself (already have Witcher, great game!)

Machinarium is a great game with a dumb name. That from a someone who rarely enjoys adventure titles. Grab it.

Hah hah. You know, I loved eating meat before I went vegan, and I love it now, but I can say 5 years of doing it opened up whole worlds of food for me that I otherwise would have never enjoyed. Wierd how depriving yourself from some things can introduce you to many new things.

EDIT: OOHH! Mount and Blade: Warband is also on sale at Steam for $10. That game is all kinds of super-cool!

Because I'm too lazy to create a thread specifically for gog.com, I'm adding to this one:

Wow, huge sale. All seem to be Hallows Eve-related titles (somewhat).

Also worth mention, a Tap favourite: Shadow of Chernobyl & Call of Pripyat - $9.99

It's funny, that sale price of two games is cheaper than Pripyat's regular price ($20) ... if I could gift Chernobyl to someone else I would, but Steam's rules do not allow this, so nay. I will wait for the next Steam sale, because undoubtedly I'm not going to finish the first Stalker for at least half a year.

The Political Machine 2008 - $3

Helmut's positive review and 75% off convinced me to buy.  Thanks for the heads-up, Scout.

I keep looking at the prices and the games and thinking...."Yes, this is 8 cents and it's great but what if they have something greater tomorrow for 7 cents? Or 6?"
