Every year around the holidays I post a message about Child’s Play, the charity founded by Penny Arcade’s Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins. Child’s Play collects toys and monetary donations for distribution to children’s hospitals all over the world – getting games, books, and toys into the hands of sick kids to help make their time in such places a little more like home.
The charity is important and special regardless, but this year, for personal reasons, I find its mission especially important. So please give. You won’t be curing diseases, but you’ll be bringing a little joy into care centers for children. And it’s fun! They have the whole thing set up with Amazon wish lists from individual hospitals, so you can shop for all kinds of goodies, or – if you prefer – you can just donate a monetary amount. Child’s Play extends around the globe now, so you can offer support wherever you like. But if you’re able, help.

My name is Mat C and I approve this message.
Also folks, the latest Humble Indie Bundle deal allows you to support Childs Play for doing nothing other than buying some great games. Have a look!
Very cool cause indeed. Thanks Steerpike
