I didn't get to play Flashback - although I read about it after the fact. To be honest, I don't remember how I even got onto Fade to Black... I don't remember reading any reviews or anything. I have a vague impression of going out on a limb for it. It was a pretty detailed game for its time, being 3D and everything, and while outrageously hard at times it was fun and immersive. I hope they release it on PSN. A saw the original Tomb Raider pop up on their a couple of months ago, and that's a game I'd like to have in my library - so there may be hope for Fade to Black. Assault Rigs was another PSone game I enjoyed, and hope they bring out on PSN. Does anyone have any PSN contacts they can tap? [Image Can Not Be Found]

I was going to say Flight Unlimited!!
Flashback was incredible and a minor obsession for me many moons ago on the Amiga 500. I never finished it because there was some sort of bug after finishing the Death Tower level and arriving on Earth and it just crashed to this blue screen with a load of yellow/white codes on it. I thought it was just my copied version and recently I realised it was actually (or probably) a problem with the original game because I ran into the same issue on an Amiga emulator! Really ought to try and finish it off for old times sake.
First off, I can't believe I got Wolf. That was such a shot in the dark.
Second, they have Another World (Out of this World) at Gog.com, why don't they have Flashback! Though I actually like AW more, I have a wild hankering to play Flashback now. I played the Sega version as a kid, but never finished it.
Me too! I got the Genesis/MegaDrive version for my birthday one year and played the bejeezus out of it. I never did finish, though.
I loved Crusader. I played it in college on my old 486/100 but it started crashing after a certain level. They even sent me a patch on floppy disk, but it didn't fix it. I had to let it go.

Lakerz, every time I see your avatar I scream a little inside. I've seen pictures of that dog before, and as one person said to me, "if Satan had a dog, that would be it." We used to have a visitor named Croaker who used a terrifying frog as an avatar. That one always scared me too. : )
#7 is a sort of obscure Sega Genesis/Mega Drive title. For some reason I was a great fan of it.

You ain't lived until you've seen a bulldog mutt mix named Ghengis the size of a breadbox, with four different length legs and a tongue as long as his body, eat an eel freshly pulled from the Connecticut River.
I made a fifteen minute highlight reel of his snuffling eel slurping glory when I worked at the community TV station. The boss made me pull it from rotation. Including Ghengis peeing into the dashboard A/C vents of a van as the credits rolled may have been a bit much.

Ah that reminds me of my experience with Dungeon Keeper, much loved, played muchly, and blighted by a game breaking bug that no posted patch disks could fix. I had to let that go too.
We were really new to PC gaming when me and my brother played No Regret. We loved the amount of equipment, toys and weaponry at your disposal and how there were secrets and story pieces to discover between blowing away guards and mechs. Spider mines and remote bombs, mmmm. The cutscenes were pretty cheesy from what I remember.
