No man, there was only one Episode and it was... it left something to be desired. I honestly believe that calling something "competent" can, in a way, be the worst insult available. The developer switched to handheld (which I think is a euphemism for "shut down") almost immediately after Episode 1 came along.

I will in fact grant you partial credit for the Joanna Dark theory. I can see the similarity!

As for the rest, you guys are all over the place in your right and wrongness this time out. Jakkar is in the lead!

Whoops! Yes, sorry:

  1. Christophe Gans' Silent Hill
  2. Front Mission Evolved
  3. The Void
  4. Fables (a comic series you're totally missing out on if you don't read, it's awesome)
  5. Men of War
  6. Sin Episodes: Emergence
  7. Bioshock
  8. Leisure Suit Larry
  9. Sherlock

This newest one's tricky. Helmut should be able to guess #8.

I got Leisure Suit Larry right! Woot.

I actually have one of the Fables comics but haven't read it yet.

#3 has to be one of the Harry Potter movies, yes?

#4 looks suspiciously like 'Space Harrier'.

#1,5,6 look familiar but can't quite place them.

I didn't play much Commander Keen, but #5 kinda reminds me of it.  Could #7 be that Synesthesia or whatever it's called?  And if I had to guess for #6, I'd probably guess Discworld...

Nope (but I can see why you'd say that), nope (but you're on the right track), nope, nope nope, nope, yup, nope.

#3 is a fairly obscure movie from the 1990s with Andy Garcia.

I'm guessing if it's not from a film then #9 is the Unreal engine. Half points for that?

#9 is NOT from the Unreal engine, though again I can totally see how it looks that way. The creators of this engine would weep if you compared theirs to Unreal.

#9's not LA Noire, is it?

And Ballblazer for #4?

If someone perused my responses in this thread they'd be surprised to know I'd been playing video games my whole life.

I suck at your picture game.

Another gutter ball! Gee, Homer, you sure do suck tonight! Yeah... suck like a fox!

#7 - Child of Eden! Well done, Jarrod!

As for #8, I don't know if she's Canadian, Helmut, but she's a path you chose - you and me both, and perhaps alone among all others... on account of the other path was a porn star.

#2's not the comic The Walking Dead, is it?  I read them many years ago, and just watched the TV series.  I think they were plain black and white comics, and the woman and child pictures in the banner remind me of the mother and son...
