If you don’t regularly visit Alliance of Awesome member Bits ‘n’ Bytes Gaming (we need to record a new podcast soon!), you should, at the very least, head on over there to check out Armand K’s interview with Almost Human, a new indie developer toiling away on Legend of Grimrock, a delightfully Dungeon Master-looking CRPG of a style we’ve not seen in ages. Gone doesn’t mean forgotten, though, and it sounds like Almost Human share a passion for those classic 3D dungeon crawlers of old. No word on why the rock is so grim though. Go see what Armand pulled out of them!

Good one, Armand. Seeing this sort of stuff warms the dark, decayed heart of this retrobate. I’d love to see how this develops, and what platforms it becomes available for.
It’s slated for PC, Mac, and iOS. RPS covered it today (I’d like to imagine because I emailed them about it, but who knows).
I played the Eye of the Beholder series a long time ago on PC and this game looks quite similar to it. I still love this kind of rpg and hope it is as good as it looks.
