Introducing ‘A Weekend With’

Welcome one and all to A Weekend With, a brand new feature to Tap-Repeatedly and the ever wonderful Alliance of Awesome.

Starting from Friday 21st October (that’s this week, folks!) Tap-Repeatedly staff, contributors, readers and friends will be getting together on a semi-regular basis to play a wide variety of games both old and new, indie and mainstream, with the aim of later discussing our experiences and reporting back to you, our lovely readers. Participation is entirely voluntary, but anyone interested in playing a diverse range of new games and getting involved with our friendly community should stop by our Steam group for further updates. Anyone is free to nominate the next game we play and participation is encouraged no matter what your tastes or interests.

This weekend we’ll be playing Bloodline Champions, an arena based competitive PvP title from Stunlock Studios. It’s recommended that you download the game prior to this weekend and complete the starter quests to get a feel for the combat if you want to join in, although with the exception of Lewis B we’re all going to be sailing in the same n00b boat. The game isn’t playable through Steam, but a number of our Steam group members will be playing the game between Friday 21st and Monday 24th. Feel free to get in touch with any of us to arrange a game at your leisure.

Any suggestions or tips for the A Weekend With feature itself are also welcome. This is very much a work in progress feature, so we’ll see how it goes this weekend and hope to see you around.
