As Norn Week over at the Guild Wars 2 official blog rumbles on, ArenaNet have just updated the norn racial page with brand new wallpapers, expanded lore, and a brand new video featuring the Shiverpeaks, hunting grounds of the norn. If you haven’t already seen it, you really should head on over and take a look. The desktop wallpapers are absolutely brilliant (made from concept art) but most importantly, the new footage of Shiverpeaks makes me want to throw off my clothes and wander in the wilderness naked, cursing our world for being so dull.
Anyway, you can find the updated norn page here as well as all the other must reads from this week: Norn Week Begins, Legend and Legacy of the Norn and Designing and Redesigning Events
You really wont regret it. Enjoy!
Update: Massively have just posted an exclusive Guild Wars 2 interview here.

Good… freaking… lord… that’s a pretty engine. I mean, damn.
Shiverpeaks! One of my favorite parts of the first Guild Wars. Trying to kill those freaking dwarves on their shaggy elephants. Arghh.
Beautiful. Must resist. Must….
Don’t fight it chaps, it’s just not possible. You’ve 9 months (my estimate) to prepare yourselves for its launch. Warn your friends, loved ones and employer that your old life is over and that Guild Wars 2 is the only way to live 😉
But Lewis, what will we eat?
Looks great. I don’t know much about Guild Wars, but I like those ursine looking folk. They seem like excellent cuddlers/companions for that harsh winter-y wonderland.
But Lewis: do I have time for Guild Wars 2? I already play WoW and it’s hard enough to truly devote to that.
Basically Xtal, you unsubscribe to WoW and play GW2 exclusively. It’s really not that hard 😉 although, you could play both; yes. GW2 doesn’t have a subscription model after all.
Personally though, I think you’d be mad to keep playing WoW when it arrives 😉
I’m not 30 seconds into that Norn trailer and holy mackerel cakes, gorgeousity made flesh. I’ve said it before: if only Morrowind looked like that out of the box.
‘Beautiful. Must resist.’
I’ll second that.
