Scout, you’re our resident expert. Are our young people ready for what’s to come? I feel adequately prepared, but I’ve got Adult Experience. Sometimes I truly worry that our children aren’t getting the education they need.

I am so hosed. I’ve not played any of the post-apocalyptic games so I’ve had absolutely no training! We’re going to need that FFC bunker/missile silo more than ever, now!
Toger is correct, FFC will need to secure a small base in the post-apocalyptic future though a flooded, bombed out hole-in-the-ground in the middle of nowhere, far from resources and abundant body parts is still a bad idea, IMO. But today’s kids are misguided if they think shotguns, small guns and silly stealthy stuff will suffice in the zombie infested future. Any reasonable adult surely realizes that zombies and mutants will come in large packs and that at a minimum mini-nukes and machine guns will be required. Ammo for these will be not be scattered around the ground covered with glow in the dark paint. No, this ammo will be locked in corpse-ridden armories and will require the ability to penetrate hardened fortifications after “scrubbing” the surrounding area of infestations of Deathclaws and soulless brain eating zombies. This will take organization and cooperation. Children will have to learn to band together in small tribes instead of wandering in isolation like feral dogs. Those who understand this will survive to spawn semi-normal offspring. Those who don’t will become mulch for the coming plague of non-native, invasive flesh eating, poison thorn shooting plants.
