Yes i did...
just follow the river to erothinn,
he is in barrel down the waterfall near island
I was exploring Zerobolin and somehow I got in the deep water surrounding the structure. I couldn't find a way to get back up, so I reloaded back where the skeleton was sitting on the stone beam. It was fascinating swimming around under the place and looking up at it.
I never did find out how I got in the water, but it was quite interesting.
I haven't found the Master Brewer yet. The terrain makes it difficult to explore.

I have been questing hard. That "Bareteon" in a real bastard according to the notes of poor dead M.R. in his shack. Which I found while falling off mountains into the backside of a temple & taking the river way out.
Pokey, did you ever manage to get a way into Cahbaet? I have 3 keys but won't open front gate, sewer locked, died 3x trying to climb down mountains near the Hill Giants. I guess we're not allowed to enter until after finding Treomar which is such a damn long way down the map I didn't want to go yet.
I'm assuming at some point I'll find the "F-place" so I can find the place without birds (Darius' puzzle #3, after Gilliad vault). So far my map doesn't give me a clue.
You'll need to do the quest for Callisto at the monastery and eventually you will get into Cahbeat. Just follow the main quest.
As to "the place without birds"….what would scare them away? But maybe you knew that and can't find the right one.
Right now I am at the end of Zerobilon, at the top, and not sure how to get down from the tower. I can't use a teleport stone and I tried climbing down, no luck. I don't want to trudge all the way back to the entrance.

Pokey, I sorta jump-fell down. Took a health potion before attempting that healed as I lost life. I bet you can jump-jump from stone to stone but I missed. You know from this forum I suck at platform gaming (ie, jumping). [Image Can Not Be Found]
A scarecrow would scare them away. But where is that F-place? (you know I never read the actual place/people names in a game). I will start checking fields from now on.

Yessssss, it's Furstsanden. Bridge? Bridge?? There are 10s of bridges. [Image Can Not Be Found] N of town? There are 10s of towns. [Image Can Not Be Found]
Knowing it's going to show up someday gives me hope. Thanks.
I am at N edge of Treomar ruins, spooky dark creepy....not sure I have the will to explore this tonight.

Shitburgers! (husband's fav expression)
I got to the library & finally realized that jumping was the only option. With all my good agility boosters back in a trunk. Now I'm almost encumbered, finally worked my way to the autosave (always an ominous sign), made my own save & stepped backwards to death at the Big Red Face.
On reload, I need to swap armor from jumping to living longer. Is this where I fight Star People? I hope not. Way too tired to fight tonight, as it is I probably can't sleep after playing this late (1 am).
My list of things pissing me off are a) teleporting out of the library to the monastery (really, what choice did I have....Erothin?), b) no chance to get into my chest, or c) sell before the monastery is overun, & now d) having to tromp all the way back for G's quest just up the block from the library. Other than those complaints, what a fun & interesting, well designed quest. [Image Can Not Be Found] In fact, so many quests in this game are the best I've ever played in any game.
I'm not sure where you are. Did you finish the library and are heading to the Star People. That is the only Big Red Face I recall. The one with the trolls? The Star People are neutral and will help you. You shouldn't have any problem with the jumps. I needed no help.
Do you have the mark and recall spells? They are handy in the outskirts. I left one at Treomar.
I found the scarecrow and entered the temple and quit for the night.
I agree, the quest design is fantastic. So much more interesting than Oblivion.
Pokey, missing brewer is in a barrel west of
DAM and then south to waterfall, around island...just follow the river upstream from dam, and when u get to island go south, NOT west under a bridge

I forgot, I did buy Mark & Recall. [Image Can Not Be Found]
After I got the evidence in the library, I "hearthed" (a WoW term) to the Monastery & immediately got dragged without choice into attack/run to cellar/jump down well/find way out. Didn't consider that by hearthing to anywhere else, I could continue on my merry way without advancing to another chapter (I'm assuming).
Hmm, I may reload all the way back to the library on the platform. Did you teleport out after getting the evidence? Didn't think I could jump far enough.
OTOH, I had a hell of a time finding my way out of the monastery sewers/etc due to *my* rotten sense of direction & don't want to replay that again if I can help it.
I am lvl 25 so it's not like I'm underpowered for where I am storywise. And I got the uber overpowered 2h sword & (goofy) helmet.
I may keep playing at Big Red Face & see how it goes. Then reload back to the library.

I looked down where I needed to go and said "WHAT"! Saw no option, so took a leap of faith and walked out. Did a quick save first–I'm no dummy. [Image Can Not Be Found]
You can always pile your loot someplace and come back later. It will be there.
Is that sword the one the ghost rider had? I tried for it but the horse wouldn't give up.He even climbed up on high rocks. Figured it was too powerful anyway.
Don't forget the shoes.
Toni, I'll look for the brewer again. Thanks.

Shoes? He had good shoes???? Ahhhh, way too late now. That was ages ago.
Yes, ghost rider. Since I knew there was a ghostrider & he gave some players problems, when I saw a mounted shadowy figure ahead on the path I: quick-saved, drank health & magicka pots, and blasted a fireball IV into his body. He jumped off his horse & came running, took another couple of fireballs & maybe a staff shock to kill him. Did not notice shoes but maybe I grabbed 'em and didn't notice.
The downside is the blade is 2h so takes forever to swing. The hat is a full bullet-looking helmet with horns & eye slits. Ugly is being kind.
Edit: maybe his corpse is still lying on the path?

Damnation! Started where I left off, Big Red Face where mobs come at you from L and R on platform. I am still working my way out. This has got to be the longest dungeon/level in the entire world of video games! No f*ckn' way am I going to replay this. I can crawl back to Treomar from anywhere on the map in less time than reloading the library platform & having to replay this dungeon later in the game.
Onward….just went through a room w/ a dwarf statue & candles. A sign that I must be near where they live. Please.
Oh, and double damnation, I forgot to look for the shoes. If the library front door is open, I'll check when I come alllllll the way back.
Edit: Wow, best level I've ever played in a game - varied environments just keep on going & going. As I ran up to the wall with the archers defending Cahbaet, the game locked. 🙁
It was fun---the ore car and the train, etc.
I have a little problem. I went to the first site in the Darius quest, east of Baldur Bridge. I got the aritifact and a message that I had one of the three. Then another message saying I found another, when I didn't. I still have two sites, though they have disappeared from the map. If I go to them, is the quest going to work? Can I still pick up the other two?
