The castle is nice. Wouldn't mind spending some time there. I must have not had any boots on, since my statue was barefoot. When I went back the second time, it was the blood mage armor till I left and then it had turned to a regular stone statue, not me.

I really want to beat her. I do pretty well climbing on the rocks till she knocks me back and I fall or get stuck. Tried invisibility with some success.  I don't think any spells I have are very potent. May try some though. What's with the Potion of Heroes? Sounded good but I don't see much effect. I am using a 36% resist shock.

I killed her again but was stuck on the rocks and couldn't move while Arkt tried to get to me.

My tactics was shock spell + cut and block...when she start to cast powerfull spell that knocks u on spikes, get away far as possible, but not toward spikes.... she was fast, but i was faster[Image Can Not Be Found].....after i tried and died few times, i beat her and took only 25% damage

Done! The game returns you to where it ended after all the credits

What worked for me was standing on the floor against the rocks and hitting Sarantha with fireballs while replenishing my health and majika. Then I would use an invisiblity potion to run to the other rocks–getting back to full health and majika. I only had to use one invisiblity potion. If I stood between the spikes, I would always die when she cast her shock wave.

Ditto Done! All by Myself! Without cheats!

However, it was hateful and no fun and if I hadn't seen her health bar slowly diminishing & managed to do a couple of quicksaves*, I woulda given up and used cheats.

* Knowing full well that stacking/replacing quicksaves can leave the latest just milliseconds from death with no chance of recovery requiring a reload way back at a full save. How do I know this? Bitter, painful lessons learned in other games.

I made a hard save right where the clone shows up (what was that about?), so I was free to try a quick save. Didn't know if it would be allowed, but didn't need it anyway. Just a couple places I want to check out, including seeing if I can get below Zerobilon again. The game was very well done and much more interesting than Oblivion. Maybe I should check out the patches and see what they add, though I am anxious to move on to New Vegas or another game.

[Image Can Not Be Found] didn't even know there was a clone!

What upset me was not being able to follow (read) the dialog - and there was so much - soon after collecting the water-in-bottle. Especially in battle rooms with end lady. Whatever the plot wrap-up, I didn't get most of it.

Haven't gone to crater at all, will do leisurely while playing another game.

Agreed, what a fantastic game - heaps better than Oblivion. I'd have no problems paying $50 (in hindsight [Image Can Not Be Found]). Probably one of my top 10 favorite crpgs.

Two Worlds II (I) should ship this week (GoGamer), I will continue to resist Fallout Vegas unless there's a killer discount. Tonight I'm going to see if I can build a face in Mass Effect..and make the earth shattering decision regarding a class. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I got Fallout: Las Vegas for $36.00 after shipping off Amazon.

I made a couple of tries at the final boss battle but I'm just not in the mood. Looks pretty but the descent into incoherence sort of puts me off. It's like they couldn't decide on an ending so they just tacked them all on, one after another. Not as impressed as you guys I guess but it certainly was long.  I'll get around to it sooner or later. Very solid gaming though.

Fallout: Las Vegas though is making me happy. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Edit: Agreed, it bests Oblivion, though I still liked Oblivion.

Edit: New Vegas, not Las Vegas.

Edit: Yapette, it was a third party seller, only had inventory for a few days I guess.

I recommend soldier for Mass Effect one. Once you've got a few skill points and a decent sniper rifle it's often possible to clear rooms before anything gets near the team and with few to no activated skills if you dump points into the passive survival abilities it is the least complicated to play. Use the assault rifle for the early game. A great sniper rifle with enough sinks to do three shots before overheating (two is good enough) without overheating = stomp. A zoomed shot to a hand sticking from behind a crate will kill most enemies, or at least drop their shield.

Sentinel has the hardest game. Arguably underpowered and definitely more complex.

Picked up most of the crew in ME2 tonight and got two of them loyal. The planet to regain Tali (my favorite from the first game; I did paragon soldier-tali-wrex) is pretty cool. Took me half the mission to realize the sunlight only drops shields and doesn't directly kill. A bit disappointing. It was more fun sprinting through the glare even when enemies had been cleared. Jack's special mission had great potential but the writing is teh not so good. "I feel like a scary bitch but also a small child." Uh-huh. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Scout —> [Image Can Not Be Found] $36 is my price point! At that I'd buy. You must have had game credits from earlier purchases. Since preorder Amazon's price has been $46. I've considered an ebay fall-off-back-of-truck edition, so far I've resisted.

Fink, good to see you. Took me forever to install, find the patch & DLC. Running Win7 64-bit so I expected troubles ahead….I'm talking with the Capt. & SpookyHead…then error menu, lock & game crash. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Not sure what to do. Try compatability mode for XP? Other house running XP, not certain w/ (horrible) DRM the game/DLC will install & play on two computers at once. My patience is going to be razor thin on making this game work, although so far I love the talky-talky.

Edit: had to start over from scratch, rebuilt character (warrior this time), different error, same lock even earlier than before. Not looking good.

Hmm. No suggestions leap to mind like fauns from their beds after the opening credits roll. [Stop that: no Disney jokes. Yes other lobe. Sorry.] I played on Vista 64-bit. There were some crashes and locks in early areas but I'd also forgotten to update the game. Rather silly having started long after its release. After the patching it ran fine; I never bought any of the DLC but it seems unlikely that's your problem.

The talky-talky is Bioware to its core. If you love that, you'll the conversations beginning to end.

My sniper recommendation may be a bit tricky for you if you've no FPS skills. Mine while extant are not strong. Inch forward. When you see an enemy zoom and shoot it. Fighting will break out so stand behind a box--there are lots of boxes--and when there's a pause in the fighting leave your lovely Box of Protection +11, zoom, shoot something ideally in its head or head analog, then back to the warm embrace of Box. It takes some skill points and improved weapons to make this feasible for feebs like us so learn to love your shotgun and assault rifle for the first half.

I dug Tali but there are other characters who spend less time faceplanted onto bulkheads.

Pokey, one is near pier near ship. Fight some pirates, in back a ship/buiding with 2 pirate merchants who don't seem to mind that you offed their mates.

The other cave has spider-monsters & you swim. [Image Can Not Be Found]

The one with the 2 Merchants has loot that is almost game breaking. A full set of expert Alchemy  tools, Cologne, a shirt of personalty boost & a merchant with 1500 gold. I disabled any mods I was using to make sure it wasn't added by another mod.

It should have at least been much harder to find & enter I am level 18 & already have way to much money. I'm on the lookout for  mods to fix the economy like was done for  Morrowind & Oblivion

Hi BeeBee, welcome. Please free to ask any questions about Nehrim in this thread. Then Pokey or Scout can help you cause I am pitiful about remembering stuff after I've finished a game. [Image Can Not Be Found] That admitted, in truth I haven't yet finished Nehrim. The crater area & parts of the southern realm are still unexplored. I will return someday.
