Ben Heck continues his reimagining of gaming hardware with this nifty little laptop version of the Atari 800.
This is making me seriously reconsider my upcoming iPhone purchase. Too bad there is only one of these in the world.

While I like the retro look of this computer, I like the steampunk style of the computer below much better. Design of the style one might have found in a skyscraper of the late 19th-early 20th century (in a parallel universe). Not only is the steampunk version more elegant, I have trouble considering anything created/developed in my lifetime to be retro. I gotta go a ways back to get to retro and nostalgia, ;>)
What? You don’t like the little volume knob that let’s you turn up the midi blips? The colored buttons? The big ass slot in the front? That amazing pop up keyboard? Steampunk is nice for what it is but there is something about fat, chunky, molded plastic that warms my heart.
