Yeah, the ancient mac mini I have has pretty nasty graphics but for 175.00 with keyboard and mouse I didn't mind. It's for audio only so I don't have to look at the video out hardly ever. If I were going to use it for video I'd get one of the newer ones.
I think I'll get the 32 GB iPhone...just in case...[Image Can Not Be Found]

Heh, how I talk the shit of the uncastrated male cattle beast...
Months later I finally got my iPhone. I cheaped out and went with the 16gb 3GS afterall. I had to get a smart phone for a current job so I had a reason finally. Spent a few days configuring it and got the Remote app working with my mac mini though it's so limited in features as to be worthless. I want to get a few games for the little sucker though. Man I never realized how chubby my fingers are. Who do they make these things for....8 year olds??

I love my iPhone. It really is the best gadget I have ever purchased. I think the killer thing for me is that I've had mine for around a year and a half now and mine is only a 3G (so already 1 generation down, soon to be 2) and yet I have absolutley no interest in upgrading or swapping to another handset. I have a 2 year old model of a phone and I still feel like it's a new piece of technology, and there is very, very little on other handsets that would swing me away right now. HTC, Google and Android are doing some lovely things between them with handsets and OS but, I'm still yet to see anything that swings me from the iPhone. The App store really is key to that, I think.
Like you I also downloaded Remote for my Mac Mini. I recently deleted it having never used it once.
As for games? Flight Control and Doodle Jump are must haves. Doodle Jump is like crack but with absolutely no negative side effects.

I'm coming around on the Remote app. It works better than I thougt but really is feature-starved. Will be interesting to see how long I keep it. Oddly I haven't been at all attracted to the App store yet. Course I had to re flash my desktop bios to a more recent version before it and iPhone would even acknowledge each other.
I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse at the moment, wishing I had gotten a Nexus One instead. The iPhone is all shiny and shit but....we'll see. There is plenty to like as well.
