Seriously, Gregg, how do you always know all these? YOU ARE THE NERD KING.
At least I knew #1 was The Blob. I can't even make out #7, except that there's obviously a triple barreled shotgun; did Duke 3D have that weapon? God, I can't remember anything except for bubblegum, shitting down necks, pipe bombs, freeze guns and shrink rays.

You’re not baiting me this time, Sakey.
I have no idea what you might mean by that. "Bait" you? I have never "baited" anyone, ever. I'm just saying that #3 is, like, so easy a tapir could figure it out.
Yes, I said "tapir." I've been playing Far Cry 3. Sue me.

New header!
Last month's:
- Irvin Yeaworth's The Blob
- Heart of Darkness
- Nexus: The Jupiter Incident
- Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble
- L.A. Noire
- Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Lone Survivor
- Zaga-33
People complained that this one was hard. You know what's hard? Life. Life's hard. OWN THE PAIN! THAT WHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU! ETC ETC ETC!
Life is the misery we endure between disappointments.
It's been dead around here!
That's... on me, really. I was busy, then I was sick, then I was lazy, then sick again. These are what we call "first world problems."
Still, I found the time to do a new banner! Here's the old one...
- They Bleed Pixels
- Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes (underappreciated and cute. Pick it up on Steam. It's a teenage goth Shining Force)
- Joseph H. Lewis's Gun Crazy (1950 - incidentally, an inspiration for Natural Born Killers, along with Malick's Badlands)
- Cargo! (what has Ice-Pick Lodge been up to? So quiet...)
- "Created by Warren Robinett," a message hidden in the Atari 2600 game Adventure
- Guns of Icarus Online (Gregg, Dix, Xtal, and I need to get back to this. Or, rather, I need to join them)
- Brian Azzarello's 100 Bullets
- Planetside 2 (Steam says I played for 13 hours. This is not true. 31 minutes is more like it. MMOs are not for me)
- A Game of Dwarves (not to be confused with that of Thrones)
Stay tuned, folks, our quiet period is coming to an end! Hijinks await!

Re: new banner..
1) That's the pig mask guy from Hotline Miami, right? If it's not, I've taken some other image completely out of context. I have seen that before.
2) Stalker?
3) Presumably "Polizei" is that Polish or German? I don't know...maybe both? Trying to think of a game where eastern European travel occurs...no clue. So maybe instead I'll guess: Counter-Strike Global Offensive?
4) Someone holding a sword ... no idea.
5) Unfinished Swan
6) Is that one of those Narn people from Guild Wars? GW2 is my guess then.
7) ?
8) A Hitman game?
9) Pirate flag = a Monkey Island game?
If being wrong's a crime I'm serving forever
xtal, with our powers combined we can beat this. Steerpike, the last one was very hard!
1) Definitely Hotline Miami, I'm playing it right now. Well, not right now.
2) Wild stab in the dark here: Tomb Raider?
3) I was going to say Cyberpunk 2077 and xtal's Polish link would tally with CD Projekt...
4) Apocalypto
5) The Unfinished Swan
6) Natural Selection 2 artwork? It does remind me of that. It also reminds me of Dishonored artwork/renders.
7) ?
8) Hitman: Something - Must Hit Something Edition
9) Scribblenauts!
Don't blame yourself about the quiet spell Matt. I've been swimming in job application stuff, interview worries and new job nerves for the last two months -- totally smudged any semblance of a decent train of thought. Pah. On the plus side, I've finally left my former dead-end job behind and I've just finished my first week at the new one and it's all going well so far. Here's hoping it stays that way!
Get better soon!
Ta-da!
- Hotline Miami
- Miasmata
- Counterstrike: Global Offensive
- Mel Gibson's Apocalypto
- The Unfinished Swan
- Natural Selection 2
- Torchlight 2
- Hitman Absolution
- Scribblenauts
I've long since given up on possibility that there be no repeats in these. My list of used items is already nine pages long. Let's see what you guys do with this latest batch!
