Installed this tonight on a new (clean, minus mods, with patch) version of Oblivion. German voice with English subtitles. 50+ hours of gameplay, 1.6 gb download.

For the visually impaired among us, this is the link ———>Nehrim <—— to Nehrim's official site.

Forgotten how long it takes me to create a character with Oblivion's facial fiddly bits. Amused to see one of the races uses graphics from the face & hair mods that I use in my official game. [Image Can Not Be Found]

So far it looks good. I made an elevator rise before I'd finished exploring. Without a way back down, I jumped but missed, and died. Autosave also put me riding up in the elevator. Cannot leave a stone unturned so tomorrow I'll reload my save just after character creation.

Pokey (and anyone else restricted by download speeds), if you're interested, I will burn the file & mail it.

I'll have you know that I am not visually impaired!!  [Image Can Not Be Found]

Your Nehrim link IS NOT visible to me in your completed posted post.  The link IS visible to me in the box in which I am composing this reply.  And that is the nub of the problem I've been having for months.  Does not matter what process I use to include a link, it is visible here in "compose" but not in the posted post.

That said, have a wonderful time with Nehrim.  [Image Can Not Be Found]

There you go Spike, I think I've solved the problem. Can you verify?

Oh Helmut.  If you mean can I see a link you've posted, the answer is no.  I think I really don't care anymore.  I'd rather spend my time worrying how to better hijack someone's thread than worry about invisible links.  But thanks for the attempt, and what did you do that you thought would work?

Edit:  Oh!  You did something that made Yap's link visible.  I missed it at first.  Whadya do?

Spike, suddenly they are showing up all over the place. Check some other threads such as the Portal 2011. Steerpike must have done something.

The theme was updated and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Everything theme-related looks the same to me, Toger, so what do you refer to?  That said, I SEE LINKS!  Lipid and 'Pike:  geek gods.

Edit:  since xtal seems to think we are all so brilliant around here, I'll rephrase my question.  "…so to what do you refer?"

The theme version was updated; not the theme itself.

No one knows what fixed this problem - my money is on Helmut, because I rarely fix anything associated with the site - but I'm glad it seems to be working for everyone again. 🙂

Helmut = SO MUCH more than straw.  Thank you so much for the magic you performed.  'Course you know that now you will be tapped for tech support in the silo forever after.

I'd been going on about user-agent this and over technical cause that, and it's funny because this version of firefox is on my work laptop, but there are several other versions around the house that all didn't work and that sorta lined up with what people were reporting. I also happen to look at the site from those other laptops without logging in. Then I noticed Yap's post above disappeared after I logged out and revisited the page. It never occurred to any of us that the site would have permission settings that sorta disabled the way browsers and websites have come to interact. I only bring it up because we deal with high explosives, space weaponry, guns, death, kittiebats (?) every day and it's important in that highly charged environment to remember correlation does not equal causality.

Stay safe.

The English version isn't in English?

You know, after playing Metro 2033, Fallout 3 just totally lost its allure.  Especially in light of the regular crashes I continued to experience.

I don't remember Oblivion crashing nearly as much.  So I'll definitely check this out!  Thanks Yapette!
