Video of a Corvette ZR-1 on the Nordschleife. A bit of a tire commercial and hardly letting the engine sound through but a nice refresher. My best time was 7:12.xxx in the BMW M3 which is in the same GT class as this car but likely pretty far from stock. My driving kinda died as I took over the wheel space with additional work computing and it was too hard to get time to stay fresh. One day. GTR-Evolution works again after an upgrade to XP-sp3, so it wasn't Steam after all.

What a video! I didn't think they made the ZR-1 any more.
I wonder how my Altima would do on the Nordschleife.

You'd find people driving a lot less car than that. A lot more, sure, but you'd be surprised what I see get passed in the videos that people post. Not horses, sadly. You could not ride a horse there.

I think it was an episode of 'Top Gear' that had a pro driver taking a panel van around the Nordschleife. That panel van finished in a better time than most people would driving the Corvette ZR-1, he he he. I remember laughing pretty hard because the poor van was just getting thoroughly tossed around and probably had to be trashed after that jaunt around the racetrack.

They had one where they were racing some campers around their test track. After fiddling with setups with the racing cars in GTR where the road height adjustments are in 1/2 cm, watching them race around the course with the inside wheel 6" off the ground was pretty funny.
Then there's this. I think I've posted it before but it's always worth a visit.
