SCARY AS HECK. Actually beats my previous scariest game ever, Realms of the Haunting. And hardly anything happens!
My only complaint: I don't even think those amorphous black things are necessary. Haven't finished it yet so maybe they tie in neatly, but they are not needed at all. SCARY.
I'm stupid for playing this mod. I have enough anxiety these days anyway. Oh boy. A real classic.
Do not play this one at night with your headphones on! No do not.

The basement was nasty. Dark and wet and hard to find an exit. Finally did after wandering for what seemed like miles around the corridors. The warehouse is at least dry and well lit but still scary.

I think I'm in the basement part now. Can't figure out how to get out. Up into the part I've come to think of as a hotel (though it might be apartment building). Back down into the water. Retracing and retracing, looking for that 3d TV. Dang.

You must be ahead of me if you are looking for a TV. Do you return to the basement? I finally got by the spinning tower but am killed by the black spectres when I return to the door with the code.

I wound up getting distracted by having to unpack boxes in our garage after the renovation. (It's always something!) But so I haven't had a chance yet to get back to the game.
A really aggravating and fascinating thing about this mod: the script is available online, and even after reading it I still can't figure out what the heck's going on. I'd talk about the script but I'd hate to give spoilers. But it's a fascinating read even by itself.
Funny. Gamers go on and on about wanting good writing in games. Now that we have a mod that has great, though disturbing, writing, the mod really should be the rage.
