J.U.L.I.A. is an innovative narrative driven PC game. The story centers on Rachel Manners, a 35 year old astrobiologist. She is a member of an elite group of scientists, chosen to embark on one of the most critical missions ever conceived on Earth. Now Rachel is alone, orbiting an unknown planet. Her only companions are J.U.L.I.A., the space probe’s artificial intelligence and Mobot, a huge reconnaissance robot. Together, this unlikely trio will explore the mysteries of this solar system. But are they prepared for what they will find?
Anyone else interested in this? I'm kinda digging the idea. Demo is now available for a try. I think I will give it a try shortly.

Well, I can't really recommend this, based on the demo. I hate to be critical of someone's effort but I just don't think there's enough fun in here. Some pretty atrocious voice acting and some underwheming puzzles just kinda tailed off into... heading back to Bulletstorm.

Every time Helmut mentions Bulletstorm it reminds me how much I love it and then I want to play it again but I have too many games to play so I just recite lines of dialogue from it even though it's not the same.

I think we should always offset these self deprivation days (buy nothing day, stay offline day) with joy of Bulletstorm days.

I hereby declare March 26 Joy of Bulletstorm Day. Celebrations can include:
- Endless-to-the-point-of-irritating quoting of Bulletstorm dialogue. "Hey, I was doing pretty swell until you and Cranky the Japanese Robot Man showed up."
- Drinking bad liquor, running out, and saying "But we do have paint thinner!"
- Playing Bulletstorm.
- Talking about playing Bulletstorm.
- Rubbing a copy of Bulletstorm (if a physical copy is owned) against the body.
- Kicking things into cacti.
Sound good?

I own Bulletstorm but haven't played it yet. However, I have just about finished my review of Vessel so I shall download it tonight.

Agreed, Steerpike, agreed. A fisher people who started playing Bulletstorm on Joy of Bulletstorm Day would have their fisher nets filled to overbursting, so overflowing would the heavens be with harmonious harmony.

Bad Bulletstorm hangover today. On the way out of the game, it froze unexpectedly. No matter, a hard shutdown will help that along. This morning, my 8800GT is not recognizable as a NVidia card and no longer appears to support D3D and has bad graphical glitches all throughout the screen. Oh Noes!
