Ok.  So shame on me for not reading each and every review ever posted on FFC/TR.  O.R. did a review in 2006 of an interactive movie/FMV game called Tender Loving Care (TLC).  He gave the movie/game a gold star.  Fast forward to today.  A GTZ acquaintance pointed me to TLC and a later game by the same developers, Point Of View (POV).  Here's the link to the developer's website.

http://www.aftermathmedia.com/.....v/main.htm

DVD of TLC is $19.99, CD of POV is $19.99, buy both and it'll cost you $32.95.  I would beware of buying through the site.  If you read all there is to read you will get the impression that the site hasn't been updated in a while (a few “Not found” links).  The company might be defunct, but there is an email contact link.  I'll be looking for an online bargain on these games.

Hey, O.R.!  Did you play POV, and if so, what did you think?

Tried to play both, couldnt stand either. I mean really really couldn't stand to the point of trying many times over the years & always having the same reaction.

If either/both are still squirreled away & haven't been chucked, I will mail you the lot - gratis. One may even have a Mac version. How's that for a magnanimous gesture (generously sending what I hate anyway [Image Can Not Be Found])?

Why, that would be both magnanimous and sweet, Yapette.  I did watch the trailer for POV and wondered if I'd feel like a voyeur for watching/playing.  Would I need to wash my hand afterwards?  I'd be willing to give it a shot.  If you find them, great.  If you don't, I will surely live.  What was your reaction?  By the way, I have been "bi" for the last 20 months - Intel iMac with Windows XP, so I can swing both ways, but prefer Mac for everything but games.

[Image Can Not Be Found]  [Image Can Not Be Found] [Image Can Not Be Found] Spike, 'tis your Lucky Day! [Image Can Not Be Found]

Found both! In the first box of many potentials! [Image Can Not Be Found]

My reaction to POV was same as your wondering, voyeurism is not my bag. [Image Can Not Be Found]

As a former mental health professional, I found TLC to be ick. More precisely, [Image Can Not Be Found].

PM your address, if you please. That's assuming PMs work and we both can figure out how. [Image Can Not Be Found]

And just in case the smiley count seems too low, [Image Can Not Be Found].

PM sent.  Thanks!  And smiley's (smilies?) are good.  If I end up enjoying these games maybe I should hie myself to a mental health professional.  Voyeurism IS in the DSM, isnt' it?

I liked POV and TLC well enough. Parts were really fun and other parts were just boring and repetitive. For free though, they are definitely worth a try.

I also liked them both.  But neither were games I would replay and I gave them away.  Also have not been waiting with bated breath for the next one.  I will agree with Yap that psychologically TLC  was fairly simplistic and POV was voyeurism (which I guess I am not above).  Kay
