There are moments where you just -know- what would make a game better, or have one of those great, lonely ideas for something if only you had a game to put it in. Anyone with an imagination will experience this some time or another.
Just had one. I see no reason not to release it into the wilds of the lounge and bordello, to be eaten whole by bigger and better ideas.
Share your own, as and when they come.

Singularity, wandering around old utility tunnels used as a morgue during the Singularity event on Katorga-12, packed with dead bodies. Scary things are happening, nothing clever, just shocking moments - and as I stagger backwards firing my rifle at the threat I realise I'm trundling backwards as invulernably and smoothly as a tank on treads.
What I SHOULD be doing, walking blindly backwards, in the dark, in terror, while firing a powerful rifle fully automatic, is falling over on my arse, tripping over corpses and slipping in mould and blood.
As I've often thought; games really need a tripping mechanic.
Where have we seen this? All I can think of is Assassin's Creed, in which sprinting in a crowd will only cause you to knock into someone, lose your balance and tumble head over heels.
