Now that Big Fish Games is $6.99 a month, it's a pretty good deal for those wanting those games.  But it's possible to get many of the same games for less.  I came across this through a link on the  comcast.net  home page:

http://www.comcast.net/games/

Membership is $5 a month, and they have many of the same games that BFG has.  I even noticed a 2-fer bundle:  Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb and Amazing Adventures: Around the World.  I didn't look too far, so there might be other bargains.

Comcast.net GamePass membership also allows free play of various online games for members.  I don't know if you have to be a Comcast customer to sign up for GamePass.

I have a one year Unlimited membership at Shockwave.com for ~$60 ($5/mo; slightly more expensive plans for 3 & 6 mos).

Download & play unlimited, as many as I want, on any game they have. 5 new games added to their catalog every Tues. I must have installed more than 50 with at least 20 currently in various stages of play-itude. As I only started this casual stuff in January, every game is new to me & this plan lets me play almost everything ever published. Except some BF exclusives which can be bought for their new low $6.99 (I'm waiting to do so until my year is up, maybe they'll show up at Shockwave).

I haven't regretted my decision to prepay a year for a second. And at what works out to about 50 cents a game, I can quit without guilt the games that bore me.

I'll go check out Comcast, I'd read they were starting a new service. However, I'll stay with shockwave at least till my year is up next January.  Still oodles of games I haven't tried yet...and new ones every week.

The single "yes, but" caveat: you must be connected to shockwave while you play. Not a problem for me.

You don't "own" the games so much as "borrow." Which bothers me not as I don't want to own after I play once (or less [Image Can Not Be Found]). There are many membership perks that to me are nonevermind: online play, group play & competition, gamblling and More! that I haven't bothered to investigate.

My only concern is that it's such a good deal that I'm afraid it won't continue (it's been like this a couple of years).
