With the change from FFC to TR, I figured it was a good time to delurk.
I'm glad to see the forums return, but didn't expect it'd involve a change to a new site.
(I'm also testing whether my avatar will show up here; my profile doesn't show it even though it said it was uploaded.)
EDIT: Looks like it's not showing here, either. Is there a minimum number of posts required before it appears?

Hi Croaker,
Both the forums and the blog use Gravatar (www.gravatar.com) to manage avatars. Just create an account there (use the same email address you use to log in to Tap-Repeatedly), upload an image, and come back here. It should work perfectly after that.

Spike, the Do Some Math thing is one of our new anti-hacker, anti-spammer mechanisms. We discovered to our sorrow that we were a little too vulnerable the way we did things at FFC, and while "What's 9+2" isn't going to stop a determined hacker, it prevents many of the spambots from getting in.
I admit I've had to stop and think about the answer a few times myself. That's why I've got MrLipid to help me with the complicated programming stuff.

I am here and glad to see some old friends. I had concluded that the forums would never return. This was a sorrow to me. The FCC forums were the best gaming home I ever found. So it is great to see the new place.

I also use a much friendlier looking Fenimore Fillmore avatar in forums, but given the reviews on his most recent game, I figured I go with the plotting frog one here.
I didn't expect it to cause so much of a disturbance, though.

Yes, you can preview posts. Just click on the little magnifying glass just to the left of the HTML button on the tool bar just above the typing window.
