I knew you would like the amp, Spike, it being all steampunky and everything. No, it's a modern amp, so no Bakelite, I'm afraid. Just good old black high density plastic.  It can also double as a regualr amp for a CD player and as a headphone amp as well. Lots of audio nerds use this in their "office system". I also got four sets of spare tubes the previous owner had bought off some mad Russian tube salesman. Apparently there is an endless supply of vacuum tubes floating around the former USSR.  Not at all surprising.

That's an amp!? It looks like a grill of some description that you'd make toasties in! I'd love to hear it though out of curiosity.

If you mean post a sample, not sure how that would work. It does sound good though. I'm listening to some music on it right now.

Our own Finkbug drew it. I have another one too, his version of my glove avatar I need to put up at some point. The forum software gives me fits though, always saying the image is too big, no matter the size. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Which doesn't matter. Size I mean. Doesn't matter.

Where is Finkbug, by the way? I hope he's okay. He hasn't been on Steam either. Last time he disappeared, he was gone for six years.

The forums have been very quiet, and not quite weird enough, since he and Jakkar began vacationing... wherever they may be.

I've been wondering about Finkbug too.  I hope he is well.  xtal is right, it's much too quiet and, well, almost normal here, and we can't have that.

Hey guys! Armand spread the word 'bout this topic over at BnB; thought I might throw mine in for good measure!

Image Enlarger

My main/living room setup - "main" because I've lately been primarily console gaming, that and my PC sucks it on a regular basis, so 'til I get a brand-spanking new one...

Image Enlarger

The office, although it's all play and no work in here! What do I spy on the screen?!? Oh, and the cat is porcelain (don't ask), although the living feet warmers are also somewhere around...

Image Enlarger

Finally, my garage. Was at one point gonna be converted into my man-cave, but then I realized that I live in Florida, and non-air-conditioned enclosed spaces are purest murder! Anyway, amongst tons of books and movies, plenty of gaming goodness to go back to. The three upper right shelves are even stacked two rows deep, for more hidden treasures!

Welcome, Pascal.  Keep coming back.  Great tastes in that web site there, and the cats, of course.

KELRIS! I mean... uh, Pascal!! Welcome!

What's the triangular thing on the floor to the left of your TV stand? And is your printer on a furry rug of some sort? Or is that just a high concentration of atmospheric fluff?

But above all: you have a CRT TV! Me and my girlfriend managed to get hold of HU-OUGE CRT from her manager at work with a view to using it downstairs for standard def stuff but after realising that it weighed more than my car decided against it and disposed of it.

Welcome, Pascal! Cool setup!

I agree wholeheartedly, climate-control is a necessity in a man cave. Garden sheds and garages don't work unless there's air conditioning. Especially in Florida!

Pascal, lovely shelves. But my friend… you sorely need a new television. That fat old tube is probably giving off more radiation than the hustling and bustling Kay/Spike STALKER thread. (See the "Mud Wrestling" sub-forum!)

And while I've got the potential attention of 2 BnB folks here in this thread... Armand, Pascal, would someone on your bloody website raise me out of the current "spam shit bot" status or whatever status it is that I currently hold? None of my damned comments ever get published on your website!

I'll second that xtal. The spam goblins often run off with my comments over there and, in fact, it seems to be happening across a lot of websites these days. It's not the dog's pants.

#1 this is my "everything" station... morning coffee...email...weather/radar check...and any gaming which requires the keyboard.

i put my feet up up the stool, plop the keyboard in my lap and i'm race ready 🙂

#2 my casual gaming, PS and wii station... a sweet gateway FX gaming laptop, a samsung flatscreen tv to the left (not seen in pic) and of course required ottoman for uber comfy gaming 🙂

#3 NO GAMING! station... yup, i really do have an office for my business 🙂

Hey sennebec.

Wow, and wow. That is one nice setup. You've turned (what looks like) the kitchen into NORAD.

And that's one hell of a camera!
