Before starting Stalker I went looking for patches.  Some sites, including THQ, show patch 1.0004 for the base game. Other sites mention 1.0005 for the base game and/or 1.0005 for Clear Sky. 

Anyone know which one I need?

It looks to me like 1.005 is the current one for Shadow, with 1.5.10 for Clear Sky.

Thanks Helmut.  I did DL 1.0005, and am now DLing Stalker Complete mod.  I'll install the patch before the mod.  Off I go....

Thanks Gregg.  I'm looking forward to it.  I just got the patch installed and was going to install the Complete mod, but you must first start the game and exit at least once before installing the mod, so I will get to that later.
