I have NWN 2, but don't think it's the Gold edition. I'll have to check (first locate the box in one of several large plastic storage bins of games) to be sure.

I'm with you, after the group play on the last one, I don't think I could play the sequel without another human playing along at home. Let me know when you're ready to take the plunge.
