Anyone used Origin yet?

Curious to see how people feel with regards to using yet another DD service, particularly one run by EA that appears to be doing consumers a disservice by choosing not to release it's games on probably the most consumer friendly and popular DD service on the internet.

I've been using the service on and off for about a week now, mainly to run the Battlefield 3 Alpha. The client itself seems fine. Runs well and doesn't appear to be a resource hog or anything. I think it's a pain to have to split friends lists and games etc across 2 different services, but I suspect that if people wish to buy EA games going forward then it's either going to be Origin or boxed retail going forward. FIFA 12 has gone up on Origin today for pre-order at the lovely price of £29.99, so I'm tempted by that even if I don't like the idea of Origin. Kinda torn on the issue.
