:happy dance:

The art style looks interesting. Less realistic, more graphic novel.

Really? Dragon Age II...?

I thought the whole point of Dragon Age: Origins was so they build a huge franchise and avoid Embarrassing Naming Convention For A Game Franchise Because At First We Weren't Sure If It Would Be A Success But Now That It Is We Need Sequels But When We Make Too Many And Get To, Like, 5, It Will Be Really Silly So We Will End On A Trilogy And Then After The Trilogy Just Keep The Franchise Going With Subtitled Games With Colons In The Title To Legitimize Our Games, Kind Of Like How IW/Activision Pulled Off "Modern Warfare 2" Instead Of What The Ridiculous Title Should Have Been, "Call Of Duty 6: Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2"...Syndrome.

Le sigh. I can see BioWare's future:

2012: Dragon Age II: Merry Christmas (Present To Us)

2013: Dragon Age III: Dragons are the New Zombies!

2013: Dragon Age III: Cheap Mobile Edition Sold As A Standalone Title

2018: Dragon Age: Unnecessary Series Reboot

2020: Dragon Age II: Oh No We Didn't!

2022: Dragon Age II: Episode One: Game Title Fail

2024: Dragon Age II: Episode Two: Better Graphics, Dune Buggy

2024: Lucrative Dragon Age Universe Side Project

2025: Lucrative Dragon Age Universe Side Project DLC: Still Breathing Fire

2028: Lucrative Dragon Age Universe Side Project 2: More Profitable Than Dragon Age II: Episode Three

2028: Grim Fandango: The Remake You Hoped A Bunch Of Soulless Bastards Would Never Make Happen

2028: Left 4 Dead 3: Literally Stealing From The Valve Playbook Now By Reviving Their Dead Franchises

2029: Left 4 Dead 3 DLC: 1 Map, 5 Dollars, Cha-Ching!

2029: Left 4 Dead: No Need For The Series Number Anymore

2032: Moonraker 2, Starring Shia LeBoeuf as Ian Fleming's James Bond

2045: Dragon Age II: Episode Three: By the Fans, For the Fans (Somebody Had To Fucking Do It Before We All Died)

DA 2 has always been in the works. It was announced around the same time as the Awakenings expansion. You just haven't been keeping up. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I do take issue with having to play a set character - human, no less - you can choose gender. I dislike playing humans. I'm playing to escape the real world, why would I want to continue to be human?

I'm glad they're making a DA 2 - I just hope that it's a little ways off, so that I can finish all of my other games first!

March 2011, Jarrod.

"Better Graphics, Dune Buggy." Classic.

My issue with it is the godawful plotline. I mean seriously...

You are Hawke (!), who survived the destruction of your country...

Seriously? HAWKE?  "My village was destroyed?" This is what we get from the self-anointed "best storytellers" in the business? This sounds like a D&D campaign dreamed up by a fourteen year old. I bet there are a lot of apostrophes too, like The Ancient City of Add'ad'onaya. I bet there's a character named T'hrang. I bet there's an Asian-influenced region. I mean come on people.

Life is the misery we endure between disappointments.

Is that humanly possible?  Can't prove it by me.

Well, my PS3 selection ain't too big - although I did shoot myself in the foot with that Megadrive Classics anthology... although I'm still going to consider that as ONE game only.  I've already unlocked Space Harrier, which is still awesome.

I just have to make sure that I don't buy any more new games until DA 2 comes out.  Otherwise I'm screwed.  The Tron Legacy game better suck, so I don't feel any urges to purchase it.

No doubt there. My point was to tease the fact that they tacked on the "Origins" subtitle to Dragon Age, only to call the sequel Dragon Age II.
