For the lazy among us, RPS (and others) are reporting that DA2 has mysteriously disappeared from Steam today - coincidentally the same day its Legacy DLC released. Rumor has it, DA2 may have gone the way of Crysis 2 in the continuing dust-up between EA and Valve over who gets custody of updates et al for games on Steam.

Incidentally I've acquired a code for the Battlefield 3 Alpha testing.. which involved downloading Origin.
My first impressions of it are pretty bad. Registering was a nightmare. It crashed a number of times and told me I couldn't log in – without reason – many times more. It's generally been quite slow for me and as of yet, several hours after first redeeming my Battlefield 3 Alpha code, I still can't actually download the game because Origin throws up a variety of error messages at me when I do.
Me thinks I shall be buying Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 at boxed retail.
