Still can't run, and the Microsoft keyboard didn't help, so back it went.  I chalk up that problem to a miscommunication between Windows XP and Mac hardware.  I also can't take screenshots in Windows…not even with a 3rd party program.  No problem when I'm using the Mac OS, so another miscommunication.  I'm living with it.  It makes travel slower, but I guess the upside is that I see more of the areas I'm passing through.

Three weeks ago I started playing my modded F3 with 21 mods – mostly quest/story/new location types.  The modding process was easy and playing has been pretty much trouble free.  I give credit to Acannova on YouTube for his excellent 4-part F3 modding videos.

When I am almost finished with the mods I now have I will inactivate most and install some new ones.  I am still loving this game, and I figure that with one more set of mods I will have about another month left in the Wasteland.  After that it will be time to move on to some of the other games in my to-be-played pile.  That pile has gotten much bigger in the time I've been playing F3.  Some of the adventure games seem to pall now in comparison to F3, but I do have Half-Life 2 complete, so that will probably be my next game (bought Orange Box for PC, but Steam let me download the Mac version for free – I love Steam).  Portal is the only game I've started and completed since starting F3.  I am so looking forward to New Vegas and Portal 2.  I also have all of Penumbra, and I've pre-ordered Amnesia from Frictional.  I'd love to play Assassin's Creed II – it looks like a beautiful game, but the always-connected DRM is not something I want to support with my $$, so for now I forgo that one.  Plus, how awful to lose one's internet connection in the middle of a tough fight.  Yapette convinced me to get Oblivion when Steam had it on sale for next to nought.  I'm not a big fan of fantasy, so I don't know what I'll do about that one.

Once I started the mod preparation (knew nothing; had to learn everything) I moved my thread over to What's The Frequency Kenneth?

Have you played F3 Armand, and if so, what did you think of it?

Edit:  also bought STALKER for next to nothing a few weeks back.  A year ago I couldn't conceive of playing an RPG after many years as an adventure gamer.  And now I'm buying STALKER.  Sheesh!

Wow. I have to say it's incredible you've played without running this whole time. I'm awestruck honestly.[Image Can Not Be Found]

I was gonna fill in my Fallout 3 credentials on the more active Fallout
posts on here, which I will do in a minute. As for your rather
impressive list of games to play, I would most highly recommend Half
Life 2. It's not an rpg, but a wonderful game never the less.

On Oblivion, it's a cool game, though a shame you will be playing it
after Fallout. FO3 is a much more polished game all around, and Oblivion
can seem sort of cumbersome in comparison. The expansion for Oblivion is a bit more fun then the main game in my opinion.

I'll fill you in on my Fallout 3 experience in a sec.
