My ex, who doesn't know Bioshock et. al. from a hole in the ground, just told me that I needed to look up dieselpunk.  I find steampunk interesting and pleasing to the eye, so off I go to Wikipedia.  Ah!  So that's what dieselpunk is.  I've seen some of it and recognized it for its different-ness from other styles, but didn't know it had a name.  The Wiki article mentioned Bioshock and Children of the Sun.  Never heard of the latter, so looked it up.  Although it isn't a game I'd be interested in, I liked how one reviewer referred to it:  "It's a fantasy world with duct tape."  Well, how can you go wrong with duct tape?
