For #1, xtal, I think you are thinking of the logo for Scott Free:
Man, my girlfriend and I always comment on how nice this logo/animation is before a movie but we always forget what the company's called afterwards. A belated thanks Dix!
Okay so we've got Stranger Things in there, Rimworld, Elite or Star Citizen, Advance Wars, Vermintide. I know those, I think. I've not played Watch Dogs but those faint lines, the citizen and bin match up on the penultimate image. No idea on the rest!
That is a great logo! Ridley Scott is a no-talent hack, though. You heard it here first. Actually you've probably heard it here, from me, before now. Still. It's true.
#5 an eyeball with wings
That made my day. It's so... so... to the point.
Jarrod, you're close with the timing, but wrong platform...
The eyeball does have wings. No denying that.
Botch: #6 could also be an asteroid field. Not everything is a belt! Some things are fields. (it's a belt)
I'm not sure what an Onimusha is, and looking at the banner I have no recollection at all of what #10 actually is. So we'll all make a discovery!

This last one was a peculiar mix.
- Lichtspeer, a highly peculiar but enjoyable indie game
- Sonic Spinball, which is when that franchise started going downhill
- Stranger Things, an awesome Netflix original that if you haven't watched, you're weird and strange and never grew up in the eighties. Demogorgon!
- RimWorld, about which our own Dobry is currently writing and will likely appear on lots of game of the year lists
- Phantasy Star, one of the first games to have first-person sections and landscape context for battles
- Elite Dangerous, near the rings of some ringed planet, because I couldn't think of something else
- Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, which is hilarious, though not as hilarious as its predecessor
- Advance Wars: Dual Strike, a kickass DS game. One critic wrote, "It makes war fun for children!"
- Watch Dogs, because I think they'd just announced a second one
- Warhammer 40K: Vermintide, which I played a few times with my buddies but we eventually stopped. It was really hard, we really sucked, and there kept being invisible rats which made it harder and us suck more.
I'll try and rotate the new one out a little sooner!
Life is the misery we endure between disappointments.
You know, it's a good thing I actually write down what these are when I save the file, because I had no freaking clue about some of them.
- System Shock Remastered - coming soon!
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - I like to have a least one gimme
- Firewatch - there's a fire. Spoiler!
- Ristar - to which I can only say... WTF. Old Genesis platformer.
- Grand Prix Evolution - working theory is I clicked "Random" at mobygames.com
- Puzzle Quest - I suck so profoundly at this game that I actually sold my DS
- You Are Empty - this was MrLipid's recommendation. Ultra bizarro Russian FPS that is SO MY GOD BAD SO BAD
- Grand Ages: Rome - not a bad little city builder, though forgotten in time. Better than Caesar IV.
- Korsakovia - back before TheChineseRoom was really well known. I only played like fifteen minutes because it's scary.
- Nain Rouge, by Josef Bastian. Joe's a longtime friend of mine; this is his foray into YA lit. Goblin in Detroit!
I'm sure the new one has some repeats, but after all these years I guess that's to be expected. Enjoy!
Life is the misery we endure between disappointments.
- Mass Effect
- Uh...Dune?
- I have to assume this is Ghost Recon: Wildlands
- One of those horror movies. Maybe The Purge or another thing. Or one of those YouTube videos you'll find if you search "creepiest YouTube videos ever."
- Spaceship. Dunno which one.
- Eyepatch lady does look familiar, and...I have to assume whatever she's from is Japanese. Let's throw a Resident Evil VII guess in here for good measure.
- I feel like I should be able to guess this, but offhand it's not coming to me.
- A deer
- A bird
- A dead deer
"Home is not a place. It is wherever your passion takes you."
Yeah, that bird's no joke man. It's all "B'kaw!" and then you're dead.
Dix, you make some excellent assertions there. I like your literal-minded approach. You're like Occam's Razor in human form!
Though #10 is not a dead deer. It's a bull's skull, worn upside-down, as a mask. That's a clue! Totes clue. Muy clue. So a clue.
Also technically I think the animal in #8 is a stag, or an elk. Or possibly a member of the Moose family? I'm not sure. It might be just a deer. Also I can't for the life of me remember what game it's from even though I made this like a week ago. I'd check, but it takes an hour to start Illustrator on this PC.
You're right about #3, it's Ghost Recon Wildlands, which my online group has taken to acronym-saying as "GROWL." We also did a lot of growling getting it to work because of some... I don't know, some issue related to NAT which puzzled us and stymied our play for days. But it's working now and we've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm in charge of driving the helicopter!
...they never should have given me that job. It doesn't suit my personality.
I'm also in charge of the drone!
...which is a better use for me, since crashing the drone doesn't kill us all in a fiery orange boom, but they're impatient and don't listen to my careful dronebservations before running ahead and getting shot.

Again I find myself relieved that I actually write down what all these were rather than trying to remember.
- Mass Effect
- Factorio
- Ghost Recon: Wildlands
- Black Mirror (episode "White Bear," which others liked but I thought was meh)
- Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky (award winning sci fi novel - warning, contains giant spiders)
- Hate Plus (one of Christine Love's more recent games, which I still haven't finished)
- Habibi by Craig Thompson (a very strange graphic novel in pretty hardcover form)
- The Elder Scrolls Online (why, I have no idea)
- Horizon: Zero Dawn
- Pathologic remake (this is from The Marble Nest demo released to backers a while ago)
