Psssshhhhh.

I'm gonna invade you so hard in Bloodborne until you un-hurt my feelings!

The movement felt different from that second beta/stress test and onward, no one would challenge that, but it never felt wrong or broken to me. Mm'well, diff'rent strokes.

I think it's really a shame there are so many average parts in the middle that stretch out the game. They should have tightened it up because I certainly concede that DKS2 is wayyyyy too long in retrospect. I wish more people got to experience the game post-Drangleic Castle because some of it is really excellent. Shrine of Amana the first time through is up there in terms of brilliant Souls experiences I've had. The first DLC is also quite good. Obviously not Artorias good, but good. I'm still stuck in the second and it's less good.

Edit: come to think of it, am I the only one that finished Dark Souls 2 'round these parts? Say it isn't so!

If being wrong's a crime I'm serving forever

I think you might be, xtal. I keep restarting.

I finished it, though I haven't played any DLC. I agree that Drangleic Castle and beyond was excellent. Also the dragon area just before the castle was pretty good. I was never able to defeat the gargoyles because I could never find anyone to summon for help. I should check out Bloodbourne.

Here's an interesting interview Miyazaki gave The Guardian.  There's a great part in which he reveals that Ico was a big inspiration.
