Its a glassa armor from Oblivion, just red not green….there is hood insted of helmet and it has pants boots, armour, gloves and sheeld….grest destruction boost..

Ah, manual….mabey later, [Image Can Not Be Found]…and its not a wisdom…just raise every magic skill to 25 by usingg them… alteration -open lock, etc

lp invest in ur main skills and BLADE….

Marksman + sneak was great for me in dungeons….i could clear lot of them without taking a single hit.

Destruction was great earlier, but ull have to raise intelligence and  willpower at cost of carrying capacity or life energy to make it really useful..

my spells at level 6 never could kill instantly, but sneak attack with my self enchanted star bow and silver arrow did. Best combination Arrow + fireball.

DONT invest in BLUNT.

for some reason light armor in nehrim gives better defence..my conclusion

HEALING…restoration or alchemy….u can raise alchemy by making potions, and earn some money and raise mercantile. if u choose restoration ull probably wont be able to raise other magic skills…

speechcraft and mercantile are totaly useless in  nehrim…i think so far…

Basicly for any class, choose 1 magic skill, blade and 2 skills by choice to spent lp  (sneak is great because u get 10 insted of 5). rest u can raise with items, running, jumping, sneaking, repearing, making potions…its borring, but in time ull raise it to satisfactory level.

trick is to know when ull need something, but if i tell u that it will be spoiler [Image Can Not Be Found]

oh, yeah lockpicking.....most of locks are easy or averige....not many important are hard and locked chests rearlly has something really valuable

there is few hard one in game but if u stock with lockpicks, wont be a problem... or raise alteration up to 75 and buy open hard lock[Image Can Not Be Found]

I have the second piece for the Gervasius quest. I guess the third is not in this area. Am I done here for now? If so, I will head back to the monastery. It was a nice ride to the southern tower. Wish we could do  more of it.

I am doing pretty much as you, Toni, blade, destruction, light armor, some sneak and security. I should probably put some points into marksman. It would be nice to shoot from a distance.

When not spellcasting, I am a staff user by choice. Not in any game, especially one w/ physics like Oblivion, can I hit the broad side of a barn (that is an English "idiom"). Most especially when mobs are running at me. By the time I've aimed, they're whacking me face-to-face.

I.found.the.shoes!!! Lemme tell you, I opened every g-damned locked door at the Sanctum, even with a Templar standing next to me. Even, even unlocked a chest on Merzul's desk while he was watching. [Image Can Not Be Found] Nope, nada, nuthin'. Last place, the dormitory building down the hill, where the mages sleep. It was night, everyone in bed. Between the rows of beds....on the floor....silver shoes. [Image Can Not Be Found] Don't know if they are there all the time or only when mages sleeping. I do have a save if anyone is thaaaat interested, I could pass time and check if they're there next daytime.

Now I still have 24 pts. to spend, Kim is waiting for me, gotta turn in the shoes....but first I want to check on the miner, father of my house's former owner. We are of the same persecuted race so I must look after my own kind. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I checked the dormitory but didn't look between the beds. I doubted that fancy shoes would be there anyway. I have some saves there and can take a look.

Edit…yep, they are there in the daylight hours. Don't know how I missed them.

Later…trouble at the monastery, so I'm heading to the dwarves. I got to a big face and lots of trolls. They never seem to stop coming, and then my video got messed up.

yapette, good luck with staff…i coudn't hit a dam thing…if i'm gonna play this again on higher dificulty, ill choose thief birthsign

anyway, try to find magic wind set of armour.. itcomes with a cool staff…75 fire damage….later i found 100 damage in south.

Pokey, thats the point i talked about my low blade problems…and …acrobatics

if u have problems with trolls, try frost nova, or traps, or something similar...it saved me ...

Toni, I got past that part, but don't know what happened. Only one door opened, I beat those trolls and then a scene of the face and I dropped down. I used mostly fireball and some blade. My blade is 63 and destruction 72. I didn't mean to get into this part this soon, but it happened automatically and has been quite a journey so far.

I do have the 75 damage staff! Only it's really slow to cast like a 2h weapon. What I do is shoot a fireball....BAM! with staff....shoot another fireball....and so on. RM...LM...RM...LM. (casting is on right mouse button since I don't block). Carry around a frost staff just in case I meet immune-to-fire like those horrid winged red devils.

Today's do-list is miner, shoes, then finally Kim.

Last night I only crashed once at exit even though I did a ton of fiddly stuff the game had to keep up with. What I think helped was dumping at least 50 alchemy ingredients into my chest. I think the game engine complains when expected to keep track of all those bits of info...my Oblivion saves got the same way as I progressed.

Pokey, there is 2 waves of trolls...1 from left and second from right...u need to stay put and after u defeat them if i recall bridge wil apear ad u go forward.... dont go left or right, i think ull drop because those bridges will disapear...

mabey i dont recall well, its a long journey... at some point ull go way down, (kinda elevator)...mabey after trolls is that part and not to go forward??

There is a few dungeons in Nehrim witha jumps and puzzles, leaps of faith, etc...that is one of the longest

Toni, that didn't happen. Only trolls from one side and then I went down to where there is a fire elemental. I fought trolls from both sides before and fell off a few times. This was different. Guess I'm still on track.

I am wearing Blood Mage armor with the hood since it boosts my destruction and restoration so much, plus some other skills. It has a pretty good armor rating as well. I think I am at 28 armor now. Just checked my acrobatics and it is only 18.

I haven't had any problems with the jumps yet. I just saw the King's skeleton and fought a skeleton on rising metal platform. Sure is a long way to the Dwarves.

I know the jump you are thinking of. I missed it at least once. I think I'm lost. In the huge cavern with stairs and walkways going everywhere. No map to help. I got to the third level and to a place I can see a huge horned statue through a hole, but I can't get through. Am I on the right track? This is after the zombie horde.

Kim and me...what a worthless POS he is! Has not lifted a finger to fight, fell unconscious twice & I lost him, had to reload! Still & all, he smiles exactly like our newest rescue dog. [Image Can Not Be Found] But alas, he's not shown himself worthy enough to be my future bf.

So didn't I just lock my computer? After going through all that stuff at the silver plate, fighting at the Sanctum, yak-yak-yak (for me, read-read-read) between the leader MrB and leader MrM, MrB is teleporting me to the dungeon.....screen....loading....red bar going across the scre.....LOCK! [Image Can Not Be Found]

Kim was pretty hopeless in the beginning, but later he fought well. Hope you have a save not too far back.

I got past the creature and it took a while to figure out the ore cars, but I made it to the Darowith Mine. Amazing looking place. It has been a long time since I went up a level. Still at 21.

I'm 21 also but sooo far behind you game wise. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Out of jail & solo now, too late & too tired to face the sewers tonight. It has been a fun night doing stuff beside clearing dungeons & mines. Although it must be said, I love the way they're designed - so interesting, full of features. So not like Oblivion's same ole, same old every one a replica. I hope Bethesda devs play Nehrim.

So Pokey, are you getting Fallout: Vegas? It's all I can do to resist, especially now that a patch & adding a .dll into the game folder has solved many early problems. Thing is, I haven't yet finished all there is to do in Fallout 3 (DLC & mods). OTOH, my birthday is next week....and we have a $25 Best Buy gift certificate my husband got from attending safety training at work.  That makes it like a $25 game, right? [Image Can Not Be Found]

If you have been liking the design of the dungeons and mines, wait till you see the journey from the monastery to the dwarves. It is huge and exciting. A fair amount of jumping, but that has been easy, and puzzles to solve. The design is amazing. The only problem is that there is a map for only part of the journey. I really missed having a map to check where I was.

I'll certainly be getting New Vegas. Not sure how long I can hold out waiting for a price drop. If it is as good as Fallout 3, it is worth $50.

Since you are at level 21, will you be heading to the monastery soon?

I can't find the passage to Cahbeat. I talked to the King and he had someone take me to the secret passage, but I don't see it. The only path seems to go north away from the city. I got stuck on the little train leaving the city and couldn't get up from the seat for a long time.

Pokey,  just follow the guy and when he talk to u outside on the road (pass the mine) u go through path that isn't on the map…through woods, ull have fort icon on ur compas, and there some wolfs along the way… u may notice that teleport is not working anymore, so its not best time to explore…

if u go to the north along the marked (on map) road ull get to small settlement and northen lake where is 2 part of Gervasius quest (lava stream tablets), but its a long jurney… if u go south it leads to some dungeons and back to monastery, (also long journey), so the best  thing u can do is to follow main quest.

After u get mission to go to erothin, try to teleport and ull get quest blocked teleports…

Vegas or Gothic 4?…Heard that Ghotic is very short so i may check that first.  Rewiev here on Tap said that Vegas is buggy like Alpha protocol..I didn't have any bugs with Alpha Protocol…Only bug i had with Fallout 3 was about Oasis, but later patch fixed that…

Have here both games…[Image Can Not Be Found]

Abut this game…well, i finished main mission, discovered every location, explored every dungeon and now i'll go again…cant, wait for new patch, because some side quests remains unfinished, and some dungeons remained locked (guess they r part of untranslated side quests)

great design ,only few dungeon generic….Great and sad story… I'm a little sad i finished this

Thanks, Toni. I found the path and got to Cahbeat. It was certainly well hidden. Following the fort sign on the compass helped. Also, changing the time from night to daylight made it a bit easier. But they did say it was a secret, didn't they?
