Jakkar, notice where I'm from on my avatar. As Scout said, here we tend to tangent (if google can be a verb, so can tangent). The problem is not pissy owners who object. Rather, it's how easy to lose track of a discussion you care about & want to participate in. Thread titles & logical associations be damned.
HarbourMaster (New member with posts=1), what did you do to our former member who was also called HB? Or was he (or she [Image Can Not Be Found]) HarborMaster. Of Not Canada. Just wondering...

Ooops, mistake. Correction.
"...our former member who was also called HM." What did you do with him, new HarbourMaster? Of the posts=1?
(I hate no longer being an Admin for the single reason that I can no longer go back & edit [fixing glaring mistakes I missed] once someone posts after me. [Image Can Not Be Found])

As much as we'd like to move on, idealistic into a brave new modern world without gender bias or sexism, the sad fact I've come to realise since my more naive teens is that most of the women I know fall into one of two categories; militant feminist or "I actually kinda like being the center of attention and treated like a lay-dee". Most of the men I know fall into just one category; desperately nervous, socially awkward, sexually insecure, confused about their gender and what it should mean to them and unable to get along with girls – so they tend to try to gain their approval through buying them lots of gifts.
I grew up thinking "No, the world is not really like that." – I found myself in an adult world where, Oh fuck, it actually is like that, whether I like it or not.
Well I'm very sorry to hear that. You should really try making friends with some different people. There are plenty out there who are well balanced adults.
And don't worry, I don't feel your shooting anything of mine down. Just expressing an opinion I don't share.

Think of it this way, Jakkar. There are so many types of people you have yet to meet.

I'm right there with you Yap (that and the whole maths needed to post) I've been trying to figure out the trigger for not being able to edit. I'll admit that I hadn't been trying too hard, but still... thanks for clearing that up for me, Yap!

@Yapette I couldn't say what happened to the previous HM, some might say the preposterous imposter of my good self. But check out the local dog food factory. That's all I'm saying.
@Steerpike: Why thank you for the warm welcome. I have known of the existence of this place for some time but had no intention of signing myself in. No time for talking! Can't delay, there are things to do! But I was frickin' summoned by the black arts of Dormammu and that was that.
Okay people. It has begun.
After installing a lantern ownership mod to try and stop myself from stealing every freakin' light source in Morrowind (and selling it) I realised that the mod inadvertently made their value rocket to around 250 gold pieces per lantern so it was quickly uninstalled and the game was begun.
Then I realised I'd forgotten to install a Dark Brotherhood attack delay mod and so was
apprehended after having a light snooze right next to the cave near
Seyda Neen. I cast a fear spell on the assassin, summoned a ghost to chase him down as he ran off, caught up with him once he had been slapped unconscious and then stabbed him to death. I then quit out, enabled my Dark Brotherhood attack delay mod, loaded my previous save and carried on. I wasn't having any of that Dark Brotherhood armour within ten minutes of starting the game.
I found the dead tax collector on the outskirts of Seyda Neen and decided against killing the murderer. Armand said that the tax record found on his body gives you an idea of whether or not he's fleecing people but I couldn't see anything suspicious. I also went into those nearby caves and got my ass handed to me a few times by the Dunmer mage. After a few attempts I decided to punch the bastard repeatedly until he dropped so I could stab him while he was down. That seemed to work.
While I was wandering around Seyda Neen I broke into that tall tower and stole a load of armour to sell across the road which made me rich enough to afford a mortar and pestle. When I realised that nobody was going to train me or offer any of their services I decided to go to Balmora to find some quests. Thanks to a mod I've got that makes joining a guild or faction harder nobody is helping me there either so I'm going to go and get the Dwemer puzzle cube and see if that raises my rank enough to join anything. I think I can join the Thieves Guild which I might try when I get back.
Armand sent me a great link to an image upload site called imgur which I intend to use for all my Morrowind pictures.
Here's the first batch!
