I want an avatar so I don't have to keep being this empty head.

When Tap Repeatedly started,  I did what I was told.   I went to Gravatar and did what I was told.   And then I started looking around for my last avatar (the wonderful rendition of Munch's The Scream  that Orb did and I immediately snatched up for myself).   I couldn't get back to FFC to find it and couldn't find it otherwise.

I suspect that there are people here who could find Orb's The Scream .  And I suspect they could get it in place as my avatar.

I am waiting to see if Santa exists on Tap Repeatedly.

Santa, or at least one of his elves, will see what he can do. Stay tuned. 🙂

I've always enjoyed you screaming, dear Kay. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Related, my gravatar stubbornly refuses to change. I'd given up after multiple tries and realize it's not a site Das Tap Ubermenchsen control but can't hurt to ask. Any advice? Everyone here still seeing the frogs?

You all don't have to use Gravatar anymore. The upload feature works now.

If you do use Gravatar, be sure to clear your cache and refresh. Your new avatar should show up after a few minutes.

Screw Gravatars, kay.

If you have something on your computer you want to use go to the Profile button up at the top right of your screen (just next to the little empty head with the cartoon bubble). Click on that and you should see your profile page. You should see a tab for Avatar. Click on that and find the browse button and browse to any pic on your computer and upload it.

Several of us had trouble with Gravatar, me included, but this works great now. Just like the old days. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Finkbug, I'm still seeing frogs. I really liked the avatar you had before that one. It seemed to suit you and made me smile.

Kay, I hope you get your avatar.

I honestly didn't know that the profile system worked now. Switching themes did wonders, I guess. 🙂

I will not rest until Kay gets her avatar. I sent instructions on how to use the Gravatar system, but Kay, it sounds like it'd be easier to just use the built in one.

How often is it socially expected of us to update our avatars?

The built in one lists the pixel width maximum but it applies to height as well. This makes sense but I tried to break it and got a nice error message with steer's name on it.

It's a strap-on. You're a starling in corkface for the street cred.

Thanks everyone.   All my Christmas gifts are now bought and those that need to be shipped wnet to UPS today.  So I will try to take on this challenge soon.   It begins to sound like something that even a Luddite such as myself might manage.   Kay

Kay, I've been wondering about you and our other north-midwestern friends.  Looks like the snow hasn't slowed you down, or trapped you inside.  Glad to see you.

Sorry everyone, I've been in Texas. You all know how that can be.

Kay wants an avatar for Christmas and Yapette's been having trouble with PMs, so Tap's Santa has his work cut out for him. If anyone else is experiencing technical difficulties, please let me know. I can't promise I'll be able to fix them, but I will at least sympathize.

Yes, I sure do know how it is in Texas: moderate temps lately into the 70s, sunny skies, minimal wind, flowers blooming. It is sweater weather, at worst you gotta put on socks. No hats, coats, mufflers, mittens, boots or frozen pipes. Cars start up on first crank. And streets are not only clear but dry.

Boy Howdy, I do love it here (in winter. [Image Can Not Be Found])

Not to worry about PMs....as long as no one expects me to write one. [Image Can Not Be Found]

Oh,  look guys.   How exciting.   I can scream again.   Thanks so much, Steerpike (Our Fearless Leader) for making this happen for me.  As a result of no longer being an empty head,  my self esteem has risen greatly.

Hey Kay! Your scream is back.

Also, I think we should get Finkbug to draw us all Finkbuggian avatars now that we've seen his drawing talents.
