You were talking about writing a HUGE CHECK. Make it out to me. I'll see it goes to charity. : )

It wasn't a children's illustration.

The Gerber baby? Elsie the Cow? Starry Night? Speaking of Van Gogh (were we?), I saw a gigantic reproduction of one of his sunflowers paintings in Altoona, Manitoba. It was the pride of the town.

That's saying something. Manitoba doesn't have much to be thankful for.

I've always liked the word, though.

"Manitoba."

I like funny words.

"Hufflepuff." "Quadrillion." "Pantaloon."

When can the human body (or parts of it, anyway) move at 50-100 mph completely unassisted?

Thank the gods it was the sneeze...  my second guess would have been far less cultured.  Researching a question as we speak... so to speak.

Ok, here we go:

Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' records the earliest link between what celebrated day and it's corresponding 'ritual'?

I never saw any concentration camp pictures of any kind in any kind of school. Steerpike, aren't you always drinking when you come up with these things? [Image Can Not Be Found][Image Can Not Be Found][Image Can Not Be Found]

Jarrod, I guess dancing naked around the maypole. No, wait, anticipation is clouding my mind... How about the Christmas tree?

No, nothing to do with a Christmas tree...  I readily admit I do suck at asking trivia questions, and that this could contribute to so few posts (thanks for keeping me company, Jen!).

You don't suck at asking questions, I suck at answering them! My next guess is drinking a toast on St. Patrick's Day.

Easter and the basket/bunny/egg thing?  I'm sure that Peeps hadn't yet been invented in Chaucer's time.  [Image Can Not Be Found]

@Jen & Spike - no to both...  Although it is sometimes pretty close to Easter, it's not religious.
