Oh, you big babies, it wasn't that hard. It's the gear-and-skull logo from Gears. Heck, I saw it the instant I made the banner. They were all obvious to me as I distorted them beyond recognition. That none of you can see it is a reflection on YOU, not me. 🙂

I'm not playing for prizes Steerpike. I'm playing to win. Y'hear? TO WIN. AGAIN.

No seriously, I couldn't leech another game off of you, especially considering you gifted me your other copy of Frozen Synapse. I like you, you are warm.

This is what I've got so far:

  1. Sacrifice
  2. (insert idea/suggestion here)
  3. Sky Captain
  4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  5. Auto Duel (courtesy of Jarrod's link)
  6. Crackdown

Is the second one perhaps an older Leisure Suit Larry?

We have some new screenshots and I actually recognize one. Number 6 is Planescape Torment. I think number 1 may be from Twinsen's Odyssey.

Number 4 looks like every JRPG I've ever played. 😀

Yeah, #1 is either Twinsen's Odyssey or that other Twinsen game.

#2 have no clue

#3 is the cover shot of Archon, one of my favorite AppleIIe games from back in the day

#4 is impossible [Image Can Not Be Found]

#5 could by Myth

#6 Planescape: Torment

#3 is Archon, well done, and #6 is indeed Planescape Torment!

#1 is NOT Twinsen's odyssey or any odyssey of any kind. Nor does it involve a jetski.

#4 is... well, remember that with each set, one is not a game. Once again, a computer-like mastery of all Steerpike trivia (and seriously, guys, you haven't memorized all this yet... 😉  ) will reveal it quite easily.

#5 should be fairly clear if you can sort out all the visual noise. Lakerz isn't completely offbase, but myths are just a part of it.

In truth it's #2 that'll give you the greatest challenge. You either played it or never heard of it.

Isn't #2 some form of flying game? Red Baron or wasn't there something called Crop Duster?

Yes, and that leads to a hood hint - it was a a hybrid flying/walking around game.

I'm guessing at the 5th picture being Rome: Total War, though I never played it so I could be wrong. It looks like an orgy of metal and muscle. Picture 6 is obviously Planescape and lakerz beat me to it with Archon (I remember you mentioning it in xtal's cover art thread). I recognise those spherical polygons in image 1 but I can't place it. Was it on the Playstation or the PC?

I always swore that the Archon cover picture would be my first tattoo, but 'twas not to be.  I'd still like to get it inked, though. #2 is buzzing around my periphery.....

I'm surprised that pic 1 isn't from a Twinsen game.  That character in white totally resembles the graphic style of Twinsen.  Could it be from one of the lego games?  The graphics seem to have a bit of the lego vibe, but not really.

Is # 2 the wish dragon from Never Ending story?  and is that Charlie's Angels in #4?
