Defense Grid is in there at #4 and if I'm not mistaken, #2 is of one of the 'Souls' games. Dark or Demon's, I'm not sure.
Could #3 be Caesar or Black & White 2 or something?

I can spot a MoM Wizard’s Tower a million miles away. One of my all time favorite games, and one I’ve spent countless hours playing since it first came out. Still very playable imo.

It has to be a remake of Zaxxon because no version of Zaxxon that I looked at had a resolution that high, apart from this one!
Picture 4 looks like Saints Row 3 or GTA IV or something like that.
Edit: any chance of making forum links a bit more obvious as well? Like underlining them automatically or making them a Tap-Repeatedly button blue?

Maybe it is a remake, it occurs to me that I just Googled “Zaxxon” and looked for a nice image. I take it back!

Not on that one. I am Ding Chavez, baby. I always loved playing as Roger McAllen– I thought it was so cool that there was a Canadian guy in the bomb squad– but if he died I would restart a whole level. I was so obsessed with that game I bet I could name all of the operatives in Rainbow off the top of my head. I swear the following will include no Googling…
Ding Chavez, Santiago Arnavisca, Gerald Morris, Ayana Yacobi, Antonio Maldini, Pak Suo-Won, Homer Johnston, Dieter Weber, …shit… okay there was a guy named Alejandro…Navarro?, some guy last name Bogart… Daniel Bogart maybe? Ummm… A Swedish woman named Anna something… Paik? Or something-qvist. The plump Polish woman… arghh. Oh, some Brit named John Price I think. Or Something Price. Nick Price? Dick Price? Okay, not as impressive as I was expecting…I remember their faces (well, portraits) more than names. Oh oh, the Russian, Evgeny Filatov; he had a wicked mustache.
I remember when Rainbow Six came out I invited my friends over and fooled them into thinking I had a 3D accelerator. The graphics were that smooth.
I also remember wishing that you could simply rename any operative through the GUI, a la UFO Defense. As it were, you had to do it by tinkering with files.

Yeah I said From Dust further up, it has to be! Good job spotting Kill Bill as well, I was going to say From Dusk Till Dawn because it has that Tarantino look about it as well as the desert/Western thing going on.
@xtal: I loved what I played of Rainbow Six, god knows why I never bought it back in the day. I think it’s responsible for my Frozen Synapse crush.
