Every now and then I will refresh the six images at the top of the site. Whoever's first to guess them all wins a game of their choice! Unless their choice is for some absurdly expensive collector's edition, in which case you will get nothing but scorn.

This contest will continue until I run out of money.

Ooooo, very exciting!

Now if you'd kindly refresh those images because I clearly don't know them all.

Are they going to be pictures of games only, or the current conglomeration of movies and games?

Steerpike didn't correctly respond to your “Would you kindly” Gregg. I think you may have to send one of those bunny-eared mannequin slicers to get his attention.

The ones covered in lemon meringue? He loves those.

Now that you mention it, they DID look like they were covered in meringue!

He especially loves them when pop up out of no-where in darkened, flooded basements. (not that I had any problem with that. Nope, nope. Not me. Tongue )

Me neither. I was solid there. SOLID.

And yes, meringue, not lemon meringue. That would be silly.

Gregg: don't encourage Toger. Haven't you seen the enclosure Helmut's built for her? You're playing with fire, my friend!

I thought Jen put the evil in evil contests but after looking at the new thumbs on the banner I have to wonder if Steerpike has taken the title.

Is the first image Abyss?  Third maybe Dante's Inferno or Mortal Kombat…  Nope… I got nothin', way outta my league.

One word: bastard.

Two words: you bastard.

I've got 5/6. It's the 4th image that's stumped me…

I'll get you gadget Steerpike. You know that free game you're stroking right now? It will be mine. Did you know free games have better gameplay?

EDIT: That 4th image is killing me. Literally, I'm dying here. It hurts.

If it makes you feel better, Gregg, I was enjoying a libation when I made that image. Waking up the next day and looking at it, it took me quite a while to remember what that fourth image was.

I'll give a mysterious clue: if the fourth image weren't so distorted, you'd guess it in about two seconds, but you might delay your response.

First image looks vaguely familiar; the sixth looks like boxing, so I'd say Mike Tyson's Punch-out; and the fourth is weird, and obviously troubling. I'm pulling this out of my ass: King's Quest V?

This is the hardest batch yet.

Looks like two little people fighting beneath a Japanese arch…  like maybe International Karate…  but the colours are wrong.  Maybe Karateka?  Or a version of Mortal Kombat?
