This was just recommended to me by Mom Steerpike as well! I have to check it out... Thanks, Ernest!

Thanks, Ernest!

I've sent a sample to my kindle... although there's no telling when I'll get to it as I'm deep in the throes of another Ice and Fire series read-through.

I recently finished the new Ice and Fire book. I didn't love it, I'm sad to report. It was okay, though.

Yeah, me neither Jen. I felt it was the weakest so far. I think I'll start a spoiler thread to discuss, since there are so many fans here…

While we're talking about books, I came across this yesterday, and thought of y'all, seeing as you talk about Ico (and Shadow of the Collosus) fairly frequently:

I haven't played either game, although I have to admit that they do look pretty good from what I've seen.  Not enough time, and also I'm saving my pennies (not that we have pennies) for Skyrim.  Oh, and Borderlands 2, which I just found out they're making.

Thanks, Jarrod!

:mumbles why isn't this on Kindle?:

I finished Game of Thrones Monday night. Yesterday I started Clash of Kings. Originally, I was going to read one of the other 80-odd books/samples as a palate cleanser, but then just kept gobbling Ice and Fire.
