Mortals, The Alliance of Awesome rises again!
Tap-Repeatedly. Bits ‘n’ Bytes Gaming. Electron Dance. This week, Joel “Harbour Master” Goodwin of Electron Dance wrangles much of the Alliance’s European Contingent outside the Eurogamer Expo. Semi-drunken interviews follow. Clicky the clicky to click another thing in which the podcast lurks.
Highlights: thoughts on Guild Wars 2, on Rage, on Zelda: Skyward Sword, on Skyrim, on great-looking indies, and much more. All delivered to you from the streets outside the Expo Center itself. Enjoy!

Brilliant.
I enjoyed hearing the insights and impressions from everyone but, have to single out Lewis B’s remarks in particular as being especially spot on with regards to SWTOR and GW2 in my personal opinion.
I had had three pints of cider by then Archer! It was a long day… 😉
My attempt to suppress my Sheffield accent after a couple of beers failed miserably!
I’ve said this to Gregg, and I’ll say it to you Mat. You all just sound the same to us Americans.
Lew, Mat, I think you need some more podcasts in you! 😉
The simple truth is this: that’s how you sound all the time to everybody else. I felt the same as you both when we started doing some initial Alliance of Awesome recordings earlier on in the year but after the interview on the street with Joel I feel like I’ve moved on from that uneasiness, thank god. I quite enjoyed it!
This was a great spattering of perspectives from the Eurogamer Expo and I can only thank Joel for his tirelessness, yet again. He is a god amongst men.
Gregg, all my little projects start out with “this sounds like a good idea” and finish with “god please make it finished already”.
So for “tirelessness” read “stupidity”.
I’ll add: to yourselves, you just sound like you’re talking. But to us, it’s like, “Ooo! An accent! Like James Bond!”
